I dreamt that I had the internet...that's kind of sad.
So these people are too nice. It's weird. Sure, it's not as awkward, but still. We went shopping today. They insisted on buying us clothes for the wedding. I don't like shopping...I'm not used to it. They spent a total $200 probably on just me. They bought me a shirt, tie, pants (I'm not used to wearing pants), three pairs of shoes, and a couple more shirts. Yeah, apparently I needed dress shoes and I was fine with that, but then they saw the shoes I was wearing with the huge holes. They then insisted on buying me two new pairs of shoes. I don't mind new shoes...but why! They told me not to look at the price at all. I feel so bad with them buying me stuff. They don't let me say no! Oh yeah, I'm also hard to shop for, even if I'm the one doing it. They wanted to get me a bunch of shirts with logos. They seem very proud of brand name logos.
Oh, at the mall they were playing that Gwen Stefani song and I couldn't stop laughing. It just reminded me so much of Mary and Stephanie and everybody else singing it in my house.
My dad and his wife keep on talking to each other in Khmer (probably). It gives me such an urge to randomly talk to Punleu in Spanish. They have their own little private language...can't I?
Up here in Washington, instead of (and in some places in addition to) the painted lines on roads, they have these little raised domes. I guess it makes sense, so you know when you're in another lane, but still...it's weird.
I think this whole family's subsistence is based on a casino they all seem to work at.

So the whole wedding is over now. It feels like I'm going home soon, but then I realize that I still have eighteen more days.
Apparently Asian people watch BET, or at least all the kids in the family. Not kids...teens.
A sign Cambodians like their rice: There was this huge huge cooler filled with rice. I mean huge. It was about the size of that black desk I put my computer on.
Everybody around here has a nice house. I guess they have nothing better to spend their money on.
The whole wedding thing was long. I think I went over most of it already though.
